First edition of this sale catalogue of paintings belonged to a rich French tailor of Neuilly near Paris. The majority of the collection is composed by artits landscapes of Barbizon School. The catalogue of this sale contents in particular 4 tables of Corot, 6 of Delacroix, 12 of Jules Dupre, 13 of Rousseau, and 6 of Troyon, works of Diaz, Géricault, Meissonier and Ziem. The catalogue is prefaced by W. Bürger and by Armand Silvestre. It is enriched by 44 beautiful and fine etchings on nice chained paper (one on "chine" applied) engraved by A. Brunet-Debaines, CH.
