Charming devotional book perfectly handwritten and enclosed in a beautiful Brussels rococco red morocco binding. Between the leaves two devotional images are inserted. The first on blue fabric represents Kings Mages and carries the following printed French and Latin text : "Sancti Tres reges Caspar Melchior Balthasar orate pro nobis nunce in hora mortis nostrae - Ces Billets ont touche aux trois testes des Saint Roy a Cologne ils sont pour les voyageurs contre les malheurs des chemins maux de teste mal caduques cures Sorcellerie tout sorte de malifice et mort subit". The second image is with portrait of S. Ignatius de Loiola by Jacobus de Man Junior; On the reverse there is the following French handwritten contemporary inscription : "Cette image a été mise en la Chapelle de Lorette, dans l'escuelle, hors de la quelle Notre Seigneur Jesu Christ, en son enfance bu et mangé ~ 1718".
