A Lille - A Paris, Chez J.B. Henry - Chez Costard, s.d. [circa 1773], in-12 (10 x 16.9 cm - 3.9 x 6.7 inches), xii - 299 pp., contemporary full brown calf (some little splits at 3 ends of joints, wears on 1spine-end and corners), spine raised on 5 bands, 5 compartments gilt tooled, 1 compartment with gilt lettered red morocco label, red edges.
"The perpetual edict is an ordinance given in the time by the Spanish Princes when the Low Countries were under their domination. It concern the most important subjects of the judical order and made law in these provinces. Anselmo, Flemish jurisconsult made also comments on it"(Camus 3377). Clear waterstains on some leaves of the index with also some uniform browning but without gravity. Owner's inscriptions and annotations on endpapers ("Michel François Joseph Müller juge de Paix à Etternach es maintenant Procureur Impérial du 3ème arrondissement - 1812- depuis 1814 conseilleur de la Cour d'Appel de Trèves"). Owner' stamp on the lower part of title ("Advocat.Anwalt Sauer in Trier)" .
