Manuscrit hollandais de Pharmacien-Droguiste des Pays-Bas du nord -- Dutch Pharmacist and General storekeeper manuscript.

s.l., s.d. [première moité du 19ème siècle - first half of the 19th century], 44 unnumbered pages of which 29 with handwritten annotations of index - 99 numbered pages with 80 pp. with handwritten medical potions and 65 other blank leaves, contemporary full parchment, sprinkled edges.
Medical Dutch manuscript entirely written with the same hand in a perfectly readable regular writing. This manuscript presented in form of a repertory with alphabetical stubs contains numerous potions, ointments, elixirs, plasters, decoctions, syrups, pomades, toothpastes, herb teas, pills, extracts etc. There are also in the last pages some receipts of lemonades, chocolates, anisette, liquor, punch, jenever, vinegar like and also some "good tricks" of general storekeeper. With also 50 small paper coupons where are transcribed quantity of other pharmaceutical receipts. Joint also a printed decree "van Gedeputeerde Staten" of the Province Friesland of July 24, 1844 on the exercise of medicine. Some paper blotters. Document of great freshness
