First edition of this treatise of the French doctor in medicine Alexandre-Jacques-François Brierre de Boismont (Rouen 1797 - 1881). He was sent to Poland in 1831 by the National Committee, provided with the Instructions of the Academy of Science and responsible for a medical department in Warsaw. He published several work on psychoses. His is one of the first mental specialists who will apply prolonged hot baths to the patients. Nice copy with few foxing.
