Hirschfeld, 1810, parts 4 et 5 in 1 volume, in-8 (19 x 11 cm - 7.5 x 4.3 inches), x - 672 pp., 366 pp., modern half grained calio (original spine partly preserved). Parts fourth and fifth of this amazing collection of prints which belonged to the German collector and banker M. Winckler. The sale catalogue of his collection published after his dead understands 5 volumes and was issued from 1801 to 1810. In his foreword Jean Gottlob Stimmel indicates us why this publication took so much time to be printed. The reason is to find to the Napolean wars. It is also the reason why the most of time the volume are sold separately. The fourth volume is about the French school and counts 4394 entries. The fifth part is about the English school and counts 1337 entries. At the end of the last volume, there are 156 items relate to the binded works. Indication of the adjudications prices indicated in the fore margins with brown ink. Enriched with 44 he of 4 title pages. Foxings.
