DUNOT, Officier de Dragon de la garde impériale du second Empire, tenue de ville - Dragoon officer of the Imperial guard during the second Empire.

A Paris, Dunot, Daguerréotypeur Breveté S.G.D.G. N° 6, Rue Lamartine près de la place Cadet , s.d. [circa 1854], Quater-plate coloured ambrotype (collodion positive on glass) portrait, 9,5 x 7,5 cm or 3.74 x 2.95 inches, under contemporary passe-partout and black lacqued frame decorated with stucco .
The Parisian photographer Dunot was active from 1851 to 1859. Bad chemistry. Minor splinter on the upper part of the frame. Photographer label stuck on mount verso. Bitumen of Judea cracked.
