Hand wood (cypress) carved decorative Japanese Noh Mask lacquered on a gesso bottom. Man expressive face with brown eyes and a black India ink moustache and frowned eyebrows. The left ear is restuck, little splinter in the moustache and some wears (with little lacks of wood on verso) on the lower extreme edges which on this part expose the wood. Crack on the left lower part of the face. Meiji period (1868-1912) .
