Nice copy enriched by 36 plates (34 handcoloured) including 1315 figures of beetles mostly raised with colors. Contemporary handwritten index placed on the opposite page. The scarcest of the three works by Berger ; less known than the 'Conchylien-Buch' and the 'Schmetterlingsbuch'. Very few foxing. See Nissen ZBI, 321 ; Horn & Schenkling 1220.
