Macon - Liége, Chez Derussy - A la direction générale, 1851- 1852 - 1853 - 1854 - [1855] , 5 parts in 5 volumes, in-4, xix - 486 pp., xix - 410 pp. (index placed on the head of the first volume in place the end), xix - 398 pp. (ibidem), 388 pp. (ibidem), xvi - 352 pp. (without title page and index), contemporary full paper "bradel" (some wears on joints, spine-ends and corners), flat spine decorated with triple fillets and giltlettered .
Head of collection which is seldom on sale. The whole collection contains 35 volumes. The "Belgique horticole" which was issued each month from 1851 to 1885 took part in the revival of the Belgian horticulture in XIXe century. The first volume was published in Macon under the direction of Charles Morren (Ghent 1807- Liége 1858). The four other volumes were published by his son Edouard Morren (1833-1886) in Liége. Various volumes are enriched by many figures or plates (some folding) and also by 117 chromolithographic (some finished by hand).These plates represents flowers, fruits and mushrooms and the most are work of L Severyns and F De Tollenaere and P.
