First and rare critical edition of Callimachus given by Henri Estienne. Greek text with Latin comments. "Bonne édition, ou l'on a imprimé pour la première fois une partie des épigrammes et des fragments de Callimaque" (Brunet I, 1480). There is in the first part the Greek text of the hymn with the Greek scholies and translation by Frischlin, the translation of Berinices Coma by Catulle and the epigrams in Greek, with their Latin translation by Frischlin. Our edition which contains the first printing of 33 epigrams was the basis of all future editions. Tear in the upper blank margin of the title without lacks of text. Enriched by a title label.
